Casey Cott, Christian Borle and Mandy Gonzalez take you inside rehearsals for the semi-staged production.

Part of the Kennedy Center’s Broadway Center Stage series, the production, directed by Josh Rhodes, stars Riverdale’s Cott in the title role alongside Christian Borle (Falsettos, Something Rotten!) as Captain Walker and Mandy Gonzalez (Hamilton, In the Heights) as Mrs. Walker. The cast also includes Wesley Taylor (SpongeBob SquarePants) as Cousin Kevin, Kimberly Nichole (The Voice) as the Gypsy (a.k.a. the Acid Queen), and Manu Narayan (My Fair Lady, Merrily We Roll Along) as Uncle Ernie.
